I am writing on the first day of the Chinese New Year, the year of the rabbit.
The new moon is in the sign of Aquarius, the most potent New Moon of the year for wishes involving new beginnings in friendships and in taking steps to make your larger life’s goals and dreams come true. For me, it seems to be quite a propos.
Today, with the help of a few of my friends, I am in the process of hanging a one-person show – ten of my paintings on display at the Northern Door Y in Fish Creek, Wisconsin. These facilities are the center of recreation, exercise and fun for all ages in the northern end the Peninsula. Last year, they initiated a program that recognizes local artists by giving some of us an opportunity to exhibit our work for a month during the year.
I am privileged and pleased to be the “artist-of-the-month.” February is an auspicious month, to be sure! And, I invite everyone to stop by the Y and warm up while enjoying my paintings.
I welcome and encourage your response, your questions and hope you decide life is simply too short to go on without one of my paintings or giclees. ♥ Put those comments below…
